Display Home Internal and External Tiling
Project Vision Statement
Completed tiling works throughout the Luxehaven display home, including internal floor tiling, bathroom wall tiling, shower areas, feature walls, and external backyard/patio tiling using 1200×600 large-format tiles.
Challenges
This project required a high level of detail due to the use of large 1200×600 tiles throughout the main internal floors, bathroom walls, and external areas. The backyard curved section was one of the more detailed parts of the job, as the tiles needed to follow the bend accurately. The large-format tiles were heavy and required careful handling, accurate set-out, and clean cutting to achieve the display home finish.
Solutions
We carefully planned the tile layout before installation to keep the grout lines consistent and the finish clean across the internal and external areas. The curved backyard section was completed using laser-cut tiles to follow the shape of the curve accurately. Extra care was taken when installing the 1200×600 tiles to ensure a flat finish, clean alignment, and a premium result throughout the home.
Final Styling Details
The finished display home has a modern, high-end look with large-format grey tiles, black bathroom fixtures, clean shower screens, feature niches, and a seamless indoor-outdoor style. The curved external tiling detail gives the backyard a custom architectural finish, while the large-format tiles inside create a clean, spacious, and luxury display home feel.
