Bathroom Feature Wall Tiling
Project Vision Statement
Completed bathroom wall tiling using large-format 1200×600 tiles, including feature wall installation around the shower area, bath, window, and fixtures.
Challenges
The main challenge was handling and installing the large 1200×600 tiles. Due to the size and weight of the tiles, two people were required for lifting, positioning, and setting each tile correctly. Extra care was needed around the window, shower fittings, bath edge, and feature wall layout to keep the finish clean and aligned.
Solutions
We used a two-person installation process to safely handle the large-format tiles and ensure accurate placement. The layout was carefully planned before installation to minimise small cuts, keep the grout lines consistent, and achieve a clean finish around the window, bath, and shower area.
Final Styling Details
The finished bathroom has a modern, high-end look with large-format stone-look tiles, black tapware, and a clean feature wall design. The larger tile size helped create a bold finish with fewer grout lines and a more seamless appearance.
